all you can do to keep ur hdd healthy is to run a virus scan, spyware scan, do a disk defragmentation, and a check/scan disk.

even if you are very careful with your hard , and keep it clean and defragment it usually , and check it every few weeks.
with technology anything is possible
there is no specific reason for the hard disks to just stop working and die.

This game was turn based and was somewhat cartoony. You started off with a simple ship and was in debt and you traveled from planet to planet trading commodities. I had the freeware demo version but i would like the full game and its been so long I dont remember the name.
